LOCOG hunts top 2012 marketer
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) is searching for a marketing director.
The successful candidate will report to LOCOG commercial director Chris
Townsend. Sources say the body hopes to make an appointment before the
Beijing Olympics begin in August.

partners.
The committee has signed up Lloyds TSB, EDF Energy and Adidas as
tier-one partners. It had initially planned to secure all tier-one
partnerships before shifting attention to its second-tier tie-ups.
However, Deloitte has already signed up as its professional services
partner in the latter category.
Separately, LOCOG is seeking an ad agency to promote the Games. The
agency will be hired on a 12-month contract, and a decision is expected
later this month.
