Viacom Brand Solutions hires Robinson to head EMEA sales
LONDON - Jules Robinson, formerly Discovery Networks' vice-president of European ad sales, has joined Viacom as senior vice-president of Viacom Brand Solutions International EMEA.
Discovery recently axed its entire European ad sales team with the loss of 20 jobs, citing "decreasing demand" for its services from clients.
Robinson has now been hired by Viacom Brand Solutions International's managing director Kevin Razvi, who said Robinson was the right person to meet clients' needs during the current period of fast-changing client and consumer relationships with media.

Razvi said: "We now have a great international team in place with international creative VP Fernando Lazzari, head of insight Andy Davidson, and digital development VP Andy Chen. The addition of Jules to lead the team will enable us to provide clients with a unique international service."
Robinson will build international deals along the lines of recent partnerships between Swatch and MTV's user-generated content programme 'MTV's Best. Show. Ever.' and between HP and the 'Meet or Delete' mobile, online and TV campaign.
Viacom Brand Solutions International represents MTV Networks International's family of brands including MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central.
