LONDON - Lightspeed Research has formed a partnership with EMI Music allowing it to offer respondents one free song or video download for each market research questionnaire they complete.

Music fans that complete the questionnaires from Lightspeed Research will receive a code that can be redeemed to download EMI-owned tracks or videos.

The downloads can be found on the Lightspeed Research music download website, which has been designed by mc-creation.com, part of the TLA Group.

At least 168,000 tracks from EMI artists, including KT Tunstall, Lily Allen and The Chemical Brothers, have been made available for download as part of the agreement.

The deal covers the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands, with the US and Canada covered in a deal previously struck between EMI and TLA.

Giles Harris, head of music and brands at EMI Music UK, said: "This new deal demonstrates perfectly how we are maximising the versatility of our music and videos through branded online incentive promotions."
