Trinity Mirror package extends reach in London
Trinity Mirror's ad sales company Amra has added a host of Archant Newspapers' titles to its portfolio - enabling it to reach 45% of London's adult population on a weekly basis.
The Amra Capital Package has extended its reach across the London market
with the addition of nine Archant titles: Barking & Dagenham Post;
Ilford & Redbridge Weekly Post; Stratford & Newham Express; East London

Brent Wembley & Kilburn Times and The Docklands.
The additional Archant Newspapers titles have been brought into the
Capital Package, so there are now 60 titles covering London.
The sales package is a collaboration between Amra, ad sales house
Clacksons, Northcliffe, Archant, Tindle Newspapers and Trinity Mirror
Southern. Amra also has a West Midlands Package, which comprises titles
from Trinity Mirror and Midland News Association.
The Capital Package offers advertisers one point of contact, one piece
of copy and one invoice to place ads in 31 of the 33 London
boroughs.
Gary McNish, managing director of Amra, said the deal was partly about
offering extended reach. "It's about building on our existing packaging
and the addition of the nine titles fills the gaps in the market. No one
else comes close. Advertisers can reach a huge part of the London market
in one go," he added.
With revenue of £3m in 2007, the package has been successful in
attracting key national advertisers looking to target Londoners.
