LONDON - Zed Media has promoted four account directors to create a new tier of business directors – the first major change implemented by newly installed joint managing directors Kevin Murphy and Paul Constantine.

The new management tier – Diane Rowe, Dan Harris, Michael Cook and Cally Edwards – will report to the board, with account directors now reporting to the four business directors.

Edwards has been with Zed for nine years and currently heads the BT and Capital One accounts. Rowe joined Zed in 2000, Cook in 2002 and Harris in 2004, after positions at Carat and MediaCom.

Murphy, who along with Constantine, was promoted to replace previous managing director Greg Grimmer, said: “In light of our growth over the past few years, a new tier of business directors will place us in a stronger position to continue this trend, and service our existing clients more efficiently.”

The same day that Murphy and Constantine were promoted, BT announced it would keep its lucrative digital account with Zed, with offline media planning, previously handled by Mediaedge:cia, going to Publicis sister agency Starcom.
