Universal McCann hires digital chief
Universal McCann has appointed Rick Corteville to head its digital activity across the EMEA region.
Corteville, who joins the Interpublic-owned network from Omnicom's
digital agency Organic, replaces Damian Blackden in the role of head of
digital technologies.
Blackden left in December to take on a similar role at Omnicom Media

Before joining Organic, Corteville worked for ZenithOptimedia in North
America as the agency's media account director on its HP business.
Corteville has also held senior roles at Beyond Interactive and Grey
Global.
At Universal, Corteville will work on brands including Intel, Microsoft,
Bacardi and Mastercard.
Graham Duff, the president of Universal McCann EMEA, said: "Rick is a
communications expert and speaks the language of digital integration. He
has global and technology brand experience and a reputation for
combining innovative approaches with best practice."
