WPP takes stake in web analytics start-up NuConomy
LONDON - WPP Group has acquired a stake in NuConomy, a web analytics company based in Silicon Valley and Israel, for an undisclosed sum.
NuConomy provides new ways for web publishers to measure users' behaviour and engagement with content.
It was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Silicon Valley and has research and development offices in Israel.

WPP's stake is held through its digital arm WPP Digital and NuConomy is expected to work closely with Kantar Group companies.
WPP has made a number of investments in companies in the digital media and research arena including Invidi, Immi, VideoEgg, Visible Technologies and Spot Runner.
