Media: WWE seeks live event sponsors

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is looking for sponsors for its live events.

The activity will be the first time that WWE has forged brand ties for
its tours. It is now seeking a sponsorship agency to assist in
identifying and working with brands to support the events.

WWE will stage 10 live events in the UK from 11-19 April, two of which

will be broadcast globally. The schedule for the WWE WrestleMania
Revenge Tour 2008 includes dates in Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool,
Nottingham, Birmingham, Cardiff and London. It will return to the UK in
September for further shows.

WWE has been growing its UK fan base in recent years, and has set up its
first marketing operation in London.

Last year, it held 23 live wrestling events across the UK and Northern
Ireland, attracting an audience of more than 190,000.
