Brandrepublic.tv launches with exclusive MacLennan interview
LONDON - Moray MacLennan, the IPA president, talks about adland's big issues in the debut show on BR's new video initiative Brandrepublic.tv.
Each month a new video webchat, sponsored by Thinkbox and produced in partnership with the IPA, will tackle the key issues in advertising, marketing and media, and is broadcast online.
In the first show, which can be seen here, Moray MacLennan, IPA president and M&C Saatchi chairman (Europe), talks about the challenges that lie ahead for the industry, the battle to make marketing matter more in the boardroom and advertising's digital dilemma.

He also renews calls for the government to show more support for the creative industries and UK advertising.
McLennan said "The IPA's collaboration with Brand Republic is about creating TV style content on issues of importance to our industry, which viewers can then comment on and contribute to."
He joked: "Unfortunately it starts with me, but it'll get better"
Philip Smith, head of digital content at Brand Republic, will be present the shows.
Smith said: "Video allows us to bring the personalities and issues at the heart of the advertising, media and marketing communities alive each month. The online opportunity also means we will be encouraging our viewers and visitors to Brand Republic to get involved with future shows.”
