BBH scoops award for Vaseline spot

SINGAPORE - A campaign for Vaseline by Bartle Bogle Hegarty scooped the top prize in the World Effie awards.

The firm took the Gold Global Effie for its "Keeping Skin Amazing" spot for the Unilever brand.

The award ceremony took place in Singapore, the first time it had been held outside the USA.

Mary Lee Keane, executive director of the Effie Awards, said: "This year, the Global Effie is receiving special recognition by being awarded at the World Effie Festival, in front of a truly global audience."

The Effie Awards honoru the most significant achievement in the marketing communications business.

The silver award went to Ogilvy & Mather for a Dove campaign, with bronze going to JWT for its “Drop a Jean Size Challenge” ad.
