The World: Paris - De Pouzilhac to lead France Monde media network
The French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, has appointed Alain de Pouzilhac, the chief executive of France 24, to lead a network that will oversee all of the French government's international TV and radio outlets.
De Pouzilhac will head the formation of the umbrella company France
Monde, which will include France 24, TV5Monde and Radio France
Internationale.
The combined budget for the three existing news organisations totals
