Experian to make it easier for car dealers to clean databases
LONDON - Experian is promising that car dealers will be able to clean up their customer databases with the touch of a button.
It has teamed up with Gemini Systems, which specialises in automotive industry technology, to make a data cleansing service specifically for car dealers.
It will let dealers export customer and vehicle records out of their dealer management systems and receive back cleansed and updated information. In the past, exporting records has been complicated and time consuming -- yet research has found that on average, 10% of a company's database is inaccurate.
