LONDON - River Publishing has taken over the publishing contract for The Co-operative's quarterly customer magazine, The Co-operative Magazine, from incumbent Redwood.

It is understood that River Publishing will roll out a print run in excess of 500,000 for the magazine, and intends to promote the title by email and trials.
River Publishing takes on the contract from Redwood, which launched the title as a membership magazine in November 2006.
Edward Axon, managing director of River Publishing, said: "[The Co-operative Magazine] is a great looking magazine that is both inspiring and informative.
"The magazine adds real value to The Co-operative's communication package and I am confident that it will have a positive impact on their overall customer experience."
