LONDON - Clark McKay & Walpole has won a brief from the Department of Health to produce a direct marketing campaign to spread awareness of the dangers of binge drinking.

The agency won after a COI-managed three-way pitch against Tequila and Watson Phillips Norman.

The Home Office recently announced it would fund a £10m marketing blitz designed to push home a responsible drinking message.

It also appointed VCCP to create an advertising campaign that will kick off in the summer.

In addition, the Department for Schools, Children and Families has been preparing a campaign to cut down on binge drinking among the under 16s.
