Fox International launches online ad network in the UK

LONDON - Fox International is to launch its online advertising division .Fox Networks in the UK.

The launch of .Fox Networks UK extends the company's reach to 16 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

It is being headed up in the UK by Phil Nott, as general manager UK operations, and Federica Aperio as publisher services director. Previously, Nott was ad sales director for the AdSmart Network, while Aperio was publisher services director for Ad.com.

Wholly owned by News Corporation the network reaches more than 50m unique users and serves 10bn impressions a month. It works with hundreds of publishers owned by News Corp and Fox, such as FX UK, National Geographic Channel, Baby TV and Real Estate TV, as well as third-parties on a local or global basis.

Hernan Lopez, president and chief operating officer of Fox International Channels, said: "Following with News Corp tradition, .Fox Networks has added 12 new offices around the world in the last year, cementing its position as the most truly international ad network."

The .Fox Network was formed in May 2007 from the merger of two previously acquired ad networks with offices in Miami, Mexico, Buenos Aires and Guatemala. Since then, .Fox has opened offices in Madrid, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Caracas, Bogota, Istanbul, Milan, Rome, Paris, Tokyo, Singapore and now London.
