Hotline: Royal Mail retains agencies

The Royal Mail has confirmed that it has retained Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Proximity on its advertising and direct marketing accounts respectively, as first tipped in Campaign (21 March). AMV defended the £5 million ad business against Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and Leagas Delaney, while Proximity pitched for the £4 million DM account against EHS Brann, Tequila and Rapier.
