Waterstone's shortlists for ad account

LONDON - Waterstone's is on the hunt for an agency to handle its £5 million advertising account.

The bookstore chain has invited Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Lowe and the incumbent, St Luke's to pitch for the business.

The winning agency will take on responsibility for all of Waterstone's print, TV, and outdoor communications.

The review will come as a blow to St Luke's, which scooped the business back in 2005, following a shoot-out against the previous incumbent Beechwood.
