Online campaign launches for web show Apollo's Pad
LONDON - Social media agency Qube Media is rolling out an online PR and user-generated content campaign for new web-based comedy show 'Apollo's Pad'.
The show, which is backed by Sony BMG, is set in a run-down New York nightclub run by deviant puppets. New episodes are uploaded daily to the website and can be viewed by users for free.

Viewers can contribute to sketch ideas and suggest special guest stars. They also have the opportunity to provide a voice-over for characters.
In the latest episode, called 'Celebrity Encounter', Apollo finds a bag of fat and is overjoyed to find out it previously belonged to Oprah Winfrey.
When the bag starts moving he begins to talk to the bag, saying: "What do you need Oprah Winfrey's fat, what do you need?!"
To which the bag replies: "Pork rinds".
Apollo sends his son out to get the pork rinds, as well as a camera to take a photo of him with Oprah Winfrey's fat.
In the meantime, Apollo becomes attracted to how the bag is moving and demands a kiss.
The fat dislikes Apollo's advances and cries out to "Stedman", Oprah Winfrey's long-time partner, before falling off the bench and splattering on the floor.
However, Apollo does not waste the opportunity and uses the fat in the kitchen, beginning with some tasty fish sticks for lunch.
Qube's online PR activity will focus on blogs and social networks and will invite users to get involved.
Features of the campaign include the comedy sketch challenge, best stand up comedy avatar and the chance to win a pair of Apollo's pants.
Andrew Seel, managing director of Qube, said: "The fact Apollo's Pad stars these amazing puppet characters with real personality and is streamed daily gives us a great opportunity to involve fans at the heart of the show's development even down to users auditioning for a voice part."
'Apollo's Pad' is produced by Galleon Holdings.
