Perfect Fools appoints Chalmers as senior partner

LONDON - Digital creative agency Perfect Fools has appointed former Strawberry Frog creative Mark Chalmers as a senior partner as it continues to expand with plans to open an office in Amsterdam this spring.

Chalmers' brief is to work across Perfect Fools' current Stockholm and New York offices as well as help set up in Amsterdam and develop the business in Asia.

He will work on international business for clients including Electrolux, Samsung and K-Swiss.

Chalmers was formerly executive creative director at Strawberry Frog Amsterdam working on global campaigns for clients including Heineken, Mitsubishi, Coca-Cola and Asics Onitsuka Tiger.

Since leaving the agency in April last year Chalmers has independently created the K-Swiss global brand campaign, which starred free runner Sebastien Foucan.

Prior to Strawberry Frog, Chalmers founded Blueberry Frog, the guerrilla marketing arm that was merged into the main agency in 2004, where he was responsible for buzz and guerrilla campaigns for Sony Ericsson, Hoegaarden and Ikea.

At UK agency HHCL he worked on the infamous Tango campaigns of the 1990s.

Perfect Fools was founded in Stockholm on April 1 2002 by partners Patrick Gardner, Tony Sajdak and Tony Hogqvist.
