Nuts website launches user-generated content channel
LONDON - IPC has launched MyNuts, a user-generated content and social networking extension to its Nuts website that it claims is already attracting 4m page impressions per month.
MyNuts has been running as a beta, but was officially launched today. It offers users the ability to create customised profile pages, upload photos and videos, create favourites, make friends and interact with other users.

Keith Walker, editor of the Nuts site, said: "Publishing and sharing content on our site has never been easier, and the rating and comments functionality of MyNuts means our users can feed back instantly on everything they find on the section."
MyNuts adds to the site's range of channels on football, girls, gear, the best of the web, online games, videos and Nuts TV.
Jo Smalley, Nuts publishing director, said: "In only its second month, MyNuts is already clocking up 4m page impressions per month, a phenomenal achievement.
"MyNuts is simply the latest consumer touchpoint that ensures our brand continues to deliver unbeatable value to advertisers."
Nuts.co.uk attracted 945,790 unique users in November last year, compared to 631,467 in June, according to ABCe audited figures.
