Yahoo! is testing an advertising sales deal with Google that will see it deliver relevant Google ads alongside Yahoo!'s own search results in the US for two weeks.
The move is being seen as another attempt to stave off a hostile $44.6 billion takeover by Microsoft. US newspapers have also reported
this week that Yahoo! is in talks with Time Warner about taking on AOL

internet assets, and have also speculated that Rupert Murdoch's News
Corporation has approached Microsoft about joining its takeover attempt.
