ASA hands search project to Periscopix
Digital advertising outfit Periscopix has kicked off a paid search campaign for the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
The ASA is looking to raise its profile among consumers as a source of advice on compliance and aims to build awareness of advertising guidelines for UK businesses.
Claire Forbes, director of communications at the ASA, said: "We have high Google search ratings on some search terms, but because the range of issues we cover is as broad as the advertising sector itself, we want to ensure that people searching for more information on some of the latest topics in advertising, for example, adverts targeted at children and gambling have access to information that outlines the rules within these areas."
