MPG, Carat in line for Tourism Australia win
LONDON - Tourism Australia has shortlisted MPG and the incumbent Carat to pitch for its global media account.
The board put the account out to tender in February, four months before Carat's existing contract expires at the end of June.
It has also shortlisted seven advertising agencies - Clemenger BBDO; DDB Worldwide; M&C Saatchi; Publicis Mojo; Saatchi & Saatchi; Singleton Ogilvy & Mather; and Whybin TBWA - to pitch for the creative account, currently held by M&C Saatchi.

Tourism Australia Managing Director Geoff Buckley said he expected the next stage of the creative review to take three months, with less time expected for the completion of the media review.
Tourism Australia has appointed an independent pitch consultant, The Agency Register, to provide strategic advice.
