by Alison Donnelly, Marketing 22-Apr-08, 10:30

LONDON - PC World is targeting families with the launch of a consumer lifestyle magazine.

The magazine will highlight the importance of digital technology in everyday life and feature real-life photography alongside interview-style editorial.

In addition to the lifestyle elements, the title will focus on a variety of hardware and software products from different manufacturers that are available at PC World stores.

The magazine will be delivered in two stages. Initially, PC World will mail a pilot version to 100,000 families. This will be followed by a further 800,000 copies of the magazine, half of which will be posted direct to customers, with the remainder being available in store.

The company has appointed Direction to design the magazine, which will be available from the end of next month.
