First Rights to deliver Special Olympics sponsorship packages
LONDON - First Rights has won a contract to create and promote sponsorship packages for the 2009 Special Olympics, to be held at the Walker Stadium and a number of major venues across Leicester from July 25-31 2009.
The deal will require First Rights to secure a broadcast partner and create various sponsorship opportunities for national and regional organisations or businesses.
It is likely to include a national media campaign and branding opportunities in and around Leicester before and during the event, as well as a platform for integrating a corporate social responsibility programme.

The 2009 Special Olympics is expected to be watched by more than 20,000 people and will feature 3,000 athletes from across the UK competing in 21 different sports, including swimming, kayaking, athletics, basketball, badminton, football, gymnastics, golf and judo.
Special Olympics Great Britain provides sporting opportunities for people with a learning disability, and equal opportunity for all its athletes regardless of ability or degree of disability.
Gareth More, First Rights director, said: "The packages will give potential sponsors of the 2009 National Summer Games the opportunity to be associated with a wide variety of highly competitive sports.
"We will work closely with potential sponsors to put together bespoke packages to fit their needs and brand profiles."
