Department of Health appoints former Boots marketing director
LONDON - The Department of Health has recruited former Boots marketing director Andrew Brent to run its anti-obesity ad pitch.
Brent was responsible for the chemist chain's "Change One Thing" initiative in 2006.
The anti-obesity campaign is part of the Government's Healthy Weight, Healthy Lives strategy.

Brent took up a global marketing role within Boots last year, after being replaced as marketing director by Elizabeth Fagan.
Lining up for the obesity pitch are M&C Saatchi, Wieden & Kennedy, Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest (VCCP).
Brent has already started in his role and will meet the agencies next week.
