LONDON - Media agency Trinity Communications has appointed James Boardman as its planning manager.

Boardman, who has four years' experience as a media planner and expertise in direct marketing and brand communications, will work across Trinity's portfolio of clients, including WWF and Carphone Warehouse.

Simon Timlett, a partner at Trinity Communications, said: "James is a real asset to the team because of his broad understanding of planning, strategy and analysis and in particular, his experience in exploiting data for the benefit of clients."

Boardman's most recent role was at Initiative Media, where he was an account manager and media planner. During his time there, he worked for clients including Burger King, Tesco Personal Finance and Orange.

Before that, Boardman was a planner at BrandConnection, working for brands including Norwich Union and Waitrose.

Boardman said: "[Trinity] has a top-class client list spread across a wide range of sectors, so there's plenty of interesting, high profile work for me to get involved in. My main aim is to use my data analysis and planning skills to help clients improve their return on investment.

"I'm particularly looking forward to assisting Trinity's clients with the integration of their brand, direct and digital media to achieve greater effectiveness."
