Maxim extends brand into dating website

Revolution UK 01-May-08

Dennis Publishing has launched a dating website for its men's lifestyle title, Maxim, following the February launch of a dating site for its Bizarre brand.

Dennis has again partnered with WhiteLabelDating.com, a software company
that enables partners to set up their own, branded dating sites. It will
provide backroom support including billing, customer support, and access

to its existing managed database of users, while Maxim users will also

be encouraged to register themselves.

Maxim users can access the dating site via a link on the main site,
where they can search for dates from a network of 18- to 35-year-old
women.

Dennis has been extending its online products recently. The publisher
rolled out a new technology-based digital consumer magazine, iGizmo, in
March. At launch, the title had more than 100,000 subscribers, and the
second issue, sent out in late March, had new advertisers including Fox
and PlayStation.

The free, fortnightly digital publication is delivered to users' inboxes
and targeted at ABC1 men aged 25 to 45.
