Evening Standard links up with London City Airport
LONDON - Associated Newspapers' Evening Standard has become the exclusive media partner of London City Airport after signing a deal that covers newspaper distribution and joint promotions.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Evening Standard will be the only London newspaper to have branding across the airport in both the check-in and departure lounge areas.
The two businesses are also launching a dual branded Eros card that gives consumers discounts on airfares and at retail outlets, bars and restaurants at the airport.

Opening offers on the card include 15% discounts on all BA non-UK bound flights (excluding Amsterdam) from London City Airport and 20% discounts on Austrian Airlines flights to Vienna, Bangkok and Tokyo from the Docklands airport.
The card is available on a direct debit basis for £3 per month. It can also be used to purchase the Evening Standard and contains the same discounts and rewards found on the existing Eros cards, which the Evening Standard launched last year.
Andrew Mullins, managing director of the Evening Standard, said: "There are tremendous synergies between both [of our] brands and we share a similar influential and affluent audience demographic.
"The new partnership card being launched is the first in a series of tie-ups which will provide a unique opportunity for both organisations to target the city elite with a range of exclusive offers that will add value to their busy lives."
