'The Chris Moyles Show' edged out 'Capital Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan' for breakfast show of the year while Russell Brand won entertainer of the year for his Radio 2 show.
Commercial radio's other wins included the community award, which went to Capital 95.8 for its 'Lights Out London' energy saving initiative. Best competition went to Key 103 for 'Sell Me The Answer'.

I just can't understand it. The Chris Moyles Show winning the "Best Breakfast Show". I am a Londoner, but for the past 10 years have lived in the North East of Scotland, where my Businesses are based. I am forced, as I drop my 10 year old son off to school, to listen to this totally talentless boy scout who quite honestly resembles a pikey. The show is excruciatingly inane, utter clap trap. He hails himself as the saviour of the morning show ... pulling around 7 million listeners ... it's the BBC for gods sake, with a market reach nearing saturation. This Guy sudenly jumped from Chiltern Radio (I think!) the 2 in the moring slot, to National Radio ... who did he sleep with? He is totally up himself, many of his shows are all about him and what he or his family have done, or who he knows. He slags off other stations and Broadcasters, Yesterday he actually went on to knock someones dress sence, talk about call the kettle black. He is now trying to get on TV. What concerns me more is the state of the Quality of the British people, 7 million listeners or are many of them, like me ... forced to tune in. This guy is crap!! and I have to pay his wages (License Fee) Surely the time must be nearing when he is pushed out, and it's back to the caravan!

Completely agree with Mark. I don't quite expect Fun Radio but I certainly don't want my 5 and 7 year old children listening to Chris Moyles banal rants and pub room banter. His language is offensive, his style rude and sarcastic and his ignorance palpable. Add to this the limited tracks played (about 2 between 0830 and 0900) and I am staggered so many people seem to find him great.
