New campaign: Strongbow

Strongbow is launching a TV and radio campaign as part of a £27m push.

In a departure from the traditional pub setting of its ads, the latest
TV execution for the brand supports its cans in an outdoor, summertime
setting. The TV ad, which breaks on 19 May, shows a man preparing a

surprise rooftop birthday party for his girlfriend. He rewards himself

with a can of Strongbow and savours it with an elongated sigh of
appreciation. Meanwhile, wildlife wreaks havoc on his work. The radio
campaign, voiced by Peep Show star David Mitchell, tempts workers with
'cool, crisp refreshment', before reminding them to finish their work
first, with the phrase, 'It's not your bowtime yet'.
