LONDON - Lastminute.com has produced its first viral ad, filmed with hidden cameras at Stansted Airport.

Characters, including airport staff, cleaners and policemen perform an impromptu musical based around a vending machine.

The ad promotes a half -price theatre ticket deal being run by the website.

Lastminute.com marketing director Julie Davidson said: “Viral advertising is a new and exciting advertising medium for lastminute.com. The theatre sale was the perfect opportunity for lastminute.com to launch this new era.”

I love it. Very clever, must have been awful for the people in the airport. Makes me want to go to the theatre too...
