Premier Foods picks Maitland
Premier Foods, Britain's biggest food manufacturer, has stopped using Citigate Dewe Rogerson for financial PR and brought in rival City agency Maitland.
The switch comes in the same week as the company announced its results, registering sales growth of 6.3 per cent over the first four months of 2008. The rise is a result of passing on costs to retailers in a bid to recover cost inflation from last year.

The food company - whose brands include Ambrosia, Branston, Hovis and Oxo - is also reviewing its £2.5m consumer agency roster (PRWeek, 18 January).
Citigate will continue to work on corporate PR for Premier Foods.
