CDMS to operate independently of Shop Direct Group
LONDON - Data management specialist CDMS is to operate independently from owner Shop Direct Group, following a restructure that will include the formation of its own board.
CDMS was originally a division of catalogue shopping firm Littlewoods Shop Direct Group, but will now operate independently.
Its new structure is aimed at helping it to expand more quickly, after two years of growth. It has seen annual revenue rise from £18m for the year ending April 2006 to £70m for the same period ending 2008.

Stephen Clark, CDMS managing director, said: "This is an exciting time for CDMS as our new independent status will be a key factor in facilitating further growth through direct access to investment and growing the data and one-to-one communication propositions. Over the next year we also aim to identify and secure acquisition opportunities to accelerate our growth."
