RMG Connect names Koo as Beijing MD

BEIJING - RMG has appointed Adeline Koo as MD of its Beijing office. Koo, who joins from Euro RSCG 4D, succeeds Jit Hoong Ng, who departed the agency four months ago.

At Euro, Koo was executive partner for the direct and data division. Prior to that, she was GM and account leader at OgilvyOne Hong Kong. From 1997, Koo spent seven years with Wunderman across Asia.

She will report to RMD Greater China MD Daniel Ko. "In order for RMG to work, you can’t just have geeks," said JWT China CEO Tom Doctoroff (pictured).

"You have to understand how to use data to make an engagement idea more powerful in terms of sales generation. Daniel is a very ruthless data man. Adeline is much more cut from a traditional brand model. They will complement each other very well."
