The World: Beijing - CCTV denies offering ads in earthquake coverage
CCTV, China's state broadcaster, has denied reports that it tried to sell ad spots in its CCTV1 and CCTV New Channel's coverage of the Sichuan earthquake.
Images of a document, "CCTV Earthquake-Rescue-Themed Advertising Plan",
offering rates for ads ranging in length from five to 30 seconds, have
been posted on Chinese websites.
However, a member of the CCTV sales team said: "We are not offering ads
