Five names digital agency roster

LONDON - Five has shortlisted a number of digital agencies to work with on the re-development of its online business over the next 12 months, including Agency.com and M&C Saatchi's Lida.

Lida and Agency.com, which have previously worked on the development of Demand Five, the channel's video-on-demand service, are joined by Taglab as Five creative partners.

Thoughtworks, ibuildings and New Bamboo have been selected as development partners. Red Bee Media and Not Only But Also have been selected as full-service agencies.

Last year, Five appointed Made By Many as its strategic agency partner to help in the selection of an agency roster, as the broadcaster moves towards the implementation phase of its digital. Made by Many will also continue to work with Five in developing and implementing its digital strategy.

Chris Kerwin, digital controller at Five.tv said, said: "Five has really exciting plans for the re-development of its online business.

"We have been through a thorough process to arrive at this roster of agencies, which will remain in place for the next twelve months.

"We have a range of projects in development and plan to award work to all agencies on our shortlist over the coming months."
