GroupM promotes Beijing’s Wei and Li

SHANGHAI - Group M has made two senior promotions in its Beijing offices, led by the appointment of Lisa Wei (pictured) to the new role of managing partner of GroupM Trading.

Wei, who has been with the company since 2005, will be in charge of all TV buying in China, including digital and internet television.

National human resources director Roger Li has been promoted to chief talent officer. Both are newly-created positions reporting directly to Bessie Lee, CEO of GroupM China. “I am very pleased to see Lisa and Roger’s contributions in the last few years recognised and rewarded,” said Lee. “Together with the rest of our senior management team, they will continue to play key roles in maintaining our position as the leading media investment management group in China.”
