Bebo and Piczo in distribution deal with T-Mobile
LONDON - Teen-oriented social networks Bebo and Piczo have extended their reach in the UK by signing distribution deals with mobile phone operator T-Mobile.
The deal involves T-Mobile adding Bebo and Piczo to the range of social networks accessible through its network, which already includes BlackPlanet, LiveJournal and Xanga.
T-Mobile users can check messages for free, but they will be charged to upload photos, post comments and send messages.

Bebo and Piczo are already available through most UK mobile phone networks, while T-Mobile has steadily built a social network proposition.
The addition of Bebo and Piczo to its offering gives T-Mobile users more opportunity to interact with social networks.
Earlier this month, Bebo commissioned a new ad-sponsored drama featuring a junior employee at Universal Music, who secretly starts up his own record label.
In April, Piczo launched a range of new online channels, with exclusive content from Yahoo Music, MyVideo, Sony BMG and Spleak Media Network.
