College Hill swoops for PA firm Communique

College Hill has brought public affairs consultancy Communique into the College Hill Group to work alongside Warwick Smith's College Public Policy.

20-year-old Communiqué is based in Westminster under MD Richard Sutcliffe-Smith. The ten-strong agency will boost College Public Policy's numbers to over 18.

Smith and College Hill founder Alex Sandberg said the deal, which like previous College Hill acquisitions, sees Communique take equity in the College Hill Group.

The pair said the company would continue to scout for further companies in the public affairs arena and a deal involving a non Britain-based agency could be in the offing.

'We will continue to bring in specialists to grow the practice,' said Smith.
