Given all the medical advances in optical health, surely Children in Need has raised enough funds to get Pudsey a new eye so it doesn't have to wear that stupid bandage any more?

How can Stevie Spring work for both a commerical media owner and help out the BBC? Surely there are more deserving causes and companies in the commercial media sector in need of her expertise and input than the Shepherds Bush gravy train.

He dont really need it Jezza. t looks cool, the Crips headband only accentuates his masculinity. Pudsey is probably the only icon to really reach out to todays youth. Street is where Pudsey is at home, for sure!

I hate Pudsey. That really annoying wave thing he does. And he always seems to be posting things in letter boxes. I wonder if it's hate mail? Or perhaps it's letters to his opthalmic surgeon demanding to know when he can have a false eye fitted.

And Holly, I don't have a problem with her doing charity work. But then again didn't the BBC actually make money out of irritating event last year? Still CIN keeps the pubs busy on a Friday night

Pudsey's a mate of mine. I was out with him the other day and he says he hates you too.

If he says that again, he'll lose the sight in the other eye

I think you need some anger management sessions Jeremy. Picking on a stuffed toy who has a message of love to spread. Who's next on your hit list? Tufty the Squirrel?

I've subsequently heard that he lost that eye in a knife fight in south London. I'm walking away....
