LONDON - Virgin Media TV-owned broadcaster Living has secured the DVD of Warner Bros Pictures' film, The Bucket List, as a broadcast sponsor in July.

The sponsorship by the comedy-drama film across Living and Living 2 is called "Living for the moment" and includes 20 hours of content on Living, plus 25 hours of programming on Living 2.

The £50,000 deal, which launches on 5 July and runs for one week, was brokered by Caroline Holmes at Virgin Media TV sales house IDS and Victoria Kyriakides at PHD.

The Bucket List stars Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson as two men with terminal illnesses, looking to fulfil their dreams by writing a "bucket list" - things to do before they die.

The sponsorship is the latest in a series of deals between IDS and film producers.

In March, Bravo secured a five-day broadcast sponsorship from Universal Pictures UK to support the DVD release of the Ridley Scott movie American Gangster.
