Future unveils computer guide title
LONDON - Specialist publisher Future is launching a bi-monthly magazine, providing readers with accessible guides to computing.
Future's 292-page Quick & Easy Guide magazine, which goes on sale tomorrow (Wednesday) priced at £5.99, covers a different area of computing every issue.
The first issue is the Quick & Easy Guide to Windows Vista, Microsoft's latest operating system.

Content will include tips from independent experts and problem-solving relating to Windows Vista.
The launch is being handled by Richard Keith, the publisher for Future's computing and games portfolio, and follows a period of cost cutting, resulting in a 17% year-on-year rise in profit in Future's latest results, announced in May.
In June, Future signed an exclusive development agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), to provide a monthly digital programme for Sony's PlayStation network.
Future is in discussions with Sony's UK operations about launching the programme in the UK.
Future claims the programme marks the first time that gamers will be able to download high-definition games coverage directly through their console's broadband connection, for viewing on TV screens.
