The portal has been created by video content producer and distributor
Ground Up Media (GUM), and will roll out this month.
GUM has been tasked with the creation of Bounty-specific video content
for the dedicated portal following a competitive pitch against
undisclosed agencies and production companies.
It will now be producing up to 30 parenting-themed films to feature on
the site at launch, as well as additional content to be added
monthly.
Bounty.com, which was launched in 2000, has stated that it intends to
invest more than £300,000 in developing content over the next year
as it aims to build loyalty among its 800,000 registered members.
Last year, Bounty.com signed up Kimberly-Clark babycare brand Huggies to
be the website's sponsor. The tie-up also includes an agreement between
the two brands to work together on a range of online and off-line
activity.
