Bordeaux Index hires Beattie

Wine brokerage company Bordeaux Index has appointed Beattie Communications after a six-way pitch.

Bordeaux Index, one of the largest wine traders in Europe with a £70 million turnover, offers bespoke wine investment services to clients.

Investment in wine is becoming increasingly popular as the wine markets are largely unaffected by the current turmoil in the financial markets.

Bordeaux Index has appointed Beattie to raise awareness of the brand via luxury consumer publications such as Tatler and The Times, plus the business and financial media.

Beattie is the first PR firm that has been appointed by Bordeaux Index.
