BritFilms appoints w00t!media to handle sales

LONDON - Film website BritFilms.tv has appointed w00t!media to handle its online ad sales.

W00t!media will be tasked with bringing film and non-film related advertising to the BritFilms site, which offers previews, competitions and reviews of Hollywood and independent movies.

BritFilms also offers a platform for independent film-makers to display their work to a dedicated, film loving audience.

Founder of BritFilms.tv, Nick McCaffery, said: "It was important for BritFilms to work alongside a company that approaches advertising creatively. We are incredibly passionate about films and want this to be reflected over the entire site."

Austen Kay, director of w00t!media, added: "We'll aim to bring complementary advertisers on board -- both brands focused on film and others brands that appreciate the independent and mainstream balance the site achieves.

"There are opportunities for creative ideas, as opposed to traditional banner ads."

In addition to the deal with BritFilms, w00t!media has secured, through a partnership with US sales house Giant Realm, the rights to represent film sites FirstShowing.net and FilmCritic.com.
