TMW wins extra work from Sainsbury's Business Direct

LONDON - Sainsbury's has handed Tullo Marshall Warren a brief to increase sales of voucher cards and hampers through its Sainsbury's Business Direct service.

Sainsbury's Business Direct is the business-to-business arm of the supermarket that focuses on generating income from the sale of Sainsbury's vouchers, gift cards and hampers.

These are targeted at companies employing 50+ people, which are are running staff motivation schemes in order to reward their staff.

Its marketing activity was formerly handled by an in-house team. TMW, which is the incumbent agency for Sainsbury's Retail and Sainsbury's Finance, has been handed the work without a pitch.

Yvonne West, gift card and voucher manager at Sainsbury's, said: "We entered into discussions with TMW about Sainsbury's Business Direct following the successful campaigns they have developed for Sainsbury's Retail."
