Aegis acquires French search agency Aposition
LONDON - Aegis Group has acquired French search marketing agency Aposition, which will join its iProspect network.
Aposition advises clients on how to organise their website in order to maximize their presence in non-paid for, or organic, search engine listings.
The agency launched in 1999 and now has gross assets of €2.7m.

It will join Aegis' Isobar-owned network of iProspect agencies and will become the core offering of iProspect France.
iProspect France will operate as a second network to Takezo, Isobar's existing search business in France.
Aegis has already acquired search businesses in Belgium, Holland, Germany and Thailand this year in a bid to achieve a global roll-out of iProspect.
It also has iProspect offices in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.
Robert Lerwill, chief executive of Aegis, said: "Aposition has a sound technical background and is growing strongly. Along with our existing search expertise in France, it will now enable us to offer the integrated iProspect approach to both local and global clients in the region."
