Lastminute.com stages ad review

LONDON - Lastminute.com is reviewing its UK advertising agency arrangements.

The company has shortlisted five agencies to pitch. Incumbent agency Farm will not participate.

The position of the online travel company's media agency, Manning Gottlieb OMD, is unaffected by the review, which will be managed by UK marketing director Julie Davidson.

Lastminute.com was founded in 1998 by Martha Lane Fox and Brent Hoberman. It was acquired by Sabre Holdings, owner of the Travelocity brand, in July 2005. Its European chief marketing officer is former Honda marketer Simon Thompson.

Earlier this year, Lastminute.com picked Tequila\London to handle its pan-European direct marketing account.
