Brooklyn Brothers nets Wyevale brief
The Brooklyn Brothers has won its first account since launching in the UK in June.
The agency has picked up the advertising, DM and digital business for
Wyevale, the garden centre chain, without a pitch. The business was
previously handled in-house.
The Brooklyn Brothers will be briefed to expand the brand online,

online infrastructure and the agency will now redesign its website.
It will also work on the retailer's loyalty scheme, The Garden Club,
reviewing its proposition and communications, as well as developing a
variety of in-store concepts to be launched in 2009.
Jackie Stevenson, a founder of The Brooklyn Brothers, said: "Gardening
is the UK's number one pastime and we're looking forward to helping
Wyevale become a source of inspiration for gardeners, whatever their
expertise."
Established in the 30s as a nursery in Hertfordshire, Wyevale now has
123 stores and is the largest garden centre chain in the UK, with a 2007
turnover of £229 million.
